Conversation Style. You can choose from different conversation styles.
Time Format: This option controls what time format to use when reading off time stamps - 12 hour format, 24 hour format, or the system default.
Announce sender information: Announces any information associated with the sender.
Announce timestamp. You can select “before message” or “after message” in this drop down to dictate if the timestamps are played before subscribers hear the message or after when they are listening to messages over the phone.
Playback Volume. You can select “quieter”, “medium” and “Louder”. Medium is the default and means messages playback at normal volume (i.e. no change). Quieter means they play back about %25 quieter than normal and louder means they play about %25 louder than normal.
Announce senders extension for messages from subscribers. Setting this option will result in the primary extension number of the subscriber who left the message being played along with their voice name (if recorded) when identifying the sender of a subscriber to subscriber message.
Announce ANI for messages from unidentified callers. This option will have Unity include the Automatic Number Identification (ANI) string (if provided) when identifying the source of a message left by an unidentified caller. For this option to be useful the switch integration must provide ANI information for calls into the voice mail server.
Say message number. Select “true” from this drop down list to have Unity announce the sequential number of a message ("Message one is...") when users are listening to messages over the phone. This can be used with the "Announce total number of new messages" check box to help subscribers keep track of the number of unheard messages as they go through the list.
