When you first open the Event Monitoring Service, it will configure the CsEmsSvc service.  If all goes well, the service will then be installed and started and you will see the administration tool.

The EMS ships with only the All Unity Errors event defined.  This is a special event that will notify the recipients on all errors that originate from a Cisco Unity component.  This event can be deactivated but cannot be deleted.  More details about this event can be found in the Configuring the All Unity Errors Notification Event section.
