Prompt Speed. This was added for the 4.2(1) release of Unity – it lets each subscriber adjust the playback speed of the system prompts for the subscriber conversation – it can be adjusted to as slow as half speed and as much as double speed. This affects only the system prompts, not greetings, voice names or message playback speed.
Prompt Style. You can select “Full Prompts” or “Brief Prompts” in this drop down. The Full Prompts conversation is a detailed conversation targeted at newer users not familiar with the phone conversation. The Brief Prompts conversation is a more abbreviated menu structure for subscribers who are familiar with the phone conversation.
Greet subscriber by name. Set this value to “true” to have all subscribers hear their voice name when they call in to check messages over the phone. Set to “false” to have subscribers go directly to the subscriber menu when they sign in.
Announce total number of new messages. Select “true” from this drop down list to have Unity announce the total number of unopened messages for all selected subscribers when they call in to check messages. This number includes unread voice, e-mail (if the user has TTS enabled), fax (if the user has fax mail enabled), and return receipt messages.
Announce total number of saved messages. Select “true” from this drop down list to have Unity announce the total number of messages that have been opened but not deleted. This number includes voice, e-mail (if the user has TTS enabled), fax (if the user has fax mail enabled), and return receipt messages.
Announce total number of new voice messages. Select “true” from this drop down list to have Unity announce the total number of unread voice mail messages to users when they call in to check message.
Announce total number of new fax messages. Select “true” from this drop down list to have Unity announce the total number of unread fax messages for users when they call in. This only applies to users that have fax mail enabled in the Class of Service they are associated with.
Announce total number of new E-Mail messages. Select “true” from this drop down list to have Unity announce the total number of unread email messages for users when they call in. This only applies to users that have TTS enabled in the Class of Service they are associated with.
Play new messages after subscriber login. (Unity 4.1 and later only). With this option turned on, after logging in, when the user gets to the main menu they will automatically be taken to the new messages stack the first time. This allows users to normally log in and then hear their new messages start playing. Note that if their password is expired, their mailbox is full or they have broadcast messages, those actions must be dealt with first before they are allowed to move on.
Update phone menu response behavior. Added for Unity 4.0(5). There are three values in this section that determine how long Unity will wait for an input after playing a menu, how long to wait for an additional digit after a user presses a single digit and how many times to repeat the menu if no user input is received. These values can be adjusted on a per user basis to determine the menu playback behavior for the subscriber conversation only – this does not affect other parts of the Unity conversation.
