Set Subscriber for Self Enrollment at next login. With this drop down set to “true” all users will be asked at the next logon to record a name and a standard greeting, to set a password, and to choose whether to be listed in directory assistance. Once the subscriber has enrolled, the option is cleared automatically.
List in Phone Directory. With this drop down set to “true” all subscribers will be listed in directory assistance, which callers can use to reach subscribers. When allowed by the class of service, subscribers can change this setting over the phone or by using the ActiveAssistant.
Subscriber Conversation Style: For Unity 4.0(3) and later this option lets you choose between different subscriber conversation styles.
Hide subscriber in e-mail address book: For Unity 4.0(3) and later this option lets you choose to have subscriber’s not show up in the desktop address books such that email users, for instance, cannot find them to address them directly. This can be useful for subscribers that are voice mail only users.
Warn subscriber that alternate greeting is enabled: For Unity 4.0(3) and later this option will have Unity remind the subscriber that their alternate greeting is enabled when they sign in to check messages. For sites that use the alternate greeting as their “vacation greeting” this can be helpful.
Warn subscriber that a Follow-Me rule is active: For Unity 7.0(1) and later this option will have Unity remind a subscriber upon logging into their mailbox that they have a Follow-Me transfer rule active. The subscriber will be given an opportunity to keep the transfer rule active or disable it.
Force display name to: This option lets you change the display name format to either “First Name Last Name” or “Last Name, First Name” for the selected subscribers. This change will write through to the directory as well.
Change switch assignment to. For version of Unity prior to 4.2(1) only: In a dual-switch integration you can select the phone system in this drop down that all selected subscribers will be assigned to. This setting changes which switch Unity assumes it needs to use when transferring calls to subscribers, MWI on/off functionality and which switch is used when Unity dials the subscriber when they use the Media Master to record/playback by phone. For versions of Unity 4.2(1) and later, use the Telephone Integration Manager tool in the Tools Depot for changing switch assignments for subscribers.
Change Subscriber’s Schedule: Changes which schedule the subscriber is associated with. This effect which greetings rule triggers based on the time of day (i.e. play the “off hours” greeting when the subscriber is out of the office).
Change default language subscriber hears to. You can select the language in which instructions are played for the subscriber in this drop down list. Only the languages currently installed and active on Unity are offered in the list. NOTE: This value is set in the SA on the “Conversation” page, not the profile page. I put it on the profile page for space considerations (the conversation tab is rather full).
Change default language callers hear to. You can select the language that Unity uses when playing the system-supplied greeting and system prompts to outside callers when they hit these subscribers mailboxes. The system-supplied greeting is heard by callers when the subscriber has not recorded a greeting. Select "Inherited" to use the language currently associated with the call. Only languages currently installed and active on Unity will be offered here. NOTE: This values is set in the SA on the “Messages” page, not the profile page. I put it on the profile page for space considerations (the conversation tab is rather full).
Change time zone for subscriber. You can select the desired time zone for the subscribers in this drop down. If you select “<Default to Time Zone on Unity Server>” all users will have their time zone set to whatever the Unity server’s time zone is set to. When a subscriber listens to messages over the phone, Unity announces the time that messages were received according to the time zone set here. This time zone value is also used to determine when notification dialouts happen for each subscriber.
