Select Call Handlers
Previous Topic  Next Topic

In this step you need to populate the grid with a list of call handlers you want to edit.  You can add as many handlers to this grid as you want and you can do it using different criteria.  If, for instance, you want to add all handlers with extension numbers 100 through 200 and all handlers with a message recipient of “Example Administrator”, you can do that.  Duplicate handlers (i.e. if some handlers with Example Administrator as the message recipient are also in the 100 to 200 extension range) will automatically be corrected in the grid such that only one instance of each handler will appear in the grid.

Once you have handlers in the grid you can sort the grid columns or move the columns around any way you like.  You can individually select/unselect handlers using the checkbox in the far left column.  Only handlers that have the check mark on will be edited with the changes you select in the next step.  You can use the “deSelect All” button to uncheck all the handlers in the grid and the “Select All” button to check all the handlers in the grid.

If you opt to add a large number of handlers to the grid, be patient.  The updates on the grid are turned off to speed the process up, it may take a minute or two to populate the grid and then updates are turned back on and you can see your handlers.

NOTE: Only “normal” call handlers are added to the grid here.  Primary call handlers (associated with subscribers) are not included here.  Use the subscriber path to edit subscribers and their corresponding primary call handlers.

You can add call handlers to the grid using the options at the top of the form:
