You’ll see 4 different notification devices.  For each you can indicate if the device is enabled or disabled and which switch it’s associated with (if it’s a phone delivery device).  NOTE: A subscriber may have more notifications than are shown, but only the ones shown can be manipulated.

 

It may be necessary to change switch assignment for notification devices if you’re moving from a single switch to a multiple switch environments or vice versa.  It’s possible to individually assign each notification device to a different switch on a per device basis.  This may be necessary if a site wants all pager devices going out the legacy PBX for instance and all other devices to go out the IP phone or something along those lines.

 

Each user is able to edit their own notification devices via the phone (the first 4 devices) or via the AA (all other devices).  It’s not possible to change dialout numbers, email addresses or schedules etc… via BulkEdit utility.
