Care was taken in the design of the EMS to make the database portable to your other Unity servers in the dialing domain.  If you have multiple Cisco Unity servers that are digitally networked (so all servers can see all subscribers) you can configure the EMS on one server and transport the database and custom WAV files to your other servers.  Follow these steps.

• Configure the EMS on your source server.
• Stop the CsEmsSvc service and exit the EMS administration tool on the source server and the destination server.
• Navigate to the EMS Database subdirectory on the source server and copy the EMSDB.MDB file and any custom WAV files to the EMS Database subdirectory on the destination server.
• Restart the CsEmsSvc service on the source server.
• Launch the EMS administration tool on the destination server and expand the Recipients node.  Look for any recipients that have the  icon.  This icon indicates that this recipient has one or more invalid delivery devices.  The most likely cause of invalid delivery devices is a recipient’s Voice Mail or E-mail device that points to a subscriber or public distribution list that has been deleted or can not be seen from this server.  Correct any invalid delivery devices.
• Restart the CsEmsSvc service on the destination server.
