In the spirit of keeping the EMS mission focused to detecting events and notifying recipients, some means to record new WAV files was not included.  One of the easiest ways to generate custom WAV files is to use the Cisco Unity Connection Administration and record the custom WAV files into the Recorded voice field of a new call handler.  Here is one method that can be used.

• Launch the Connection Administration and temporarily create a new System Call Handler.
• Record your custom WAV file using the MediaMaster Control on the Recorded voice field and use the Save recording as... selection under the Options menu to save the changes.
• Launch Windows Explorer and navigate to the directory were you saved your recording.
• Find the new recording and copy this file to the Database subdirectory of the EMS.  (The default location is C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\Cisco Unity Connection\Utilities\EventMonitoringService.)
• Rename the file to something unique.
